Dealings with the Queensland Public Trustee's Office can often result in a headache and feelings of being let down & left disappointed are par for the course. This evidently stems from the fact that their client facing staff, being the case workers, have double or more the case load than they could reasonably be expected to handle.

When dealing with the PT office, it is always better to be mindful of the high pressure that the client manager is working under and to be calm & relaxed in all communications.

very rude and dismissive barb is a real sarcastic and rude person what goes around comes around have to be treated like im a nobody im not stupid like the rest of their clients i won't put up with rudeness have to ring multiple times for something that will take 5 minutes

Do not understand why there is an inability to do anything but pass one lot of assets to the other spouse. They were unhelpful and I was worried about whether using them was going to create more issues. I thought my will was a simple affair and they were great a few years ago. I am sure they are overworked but the recent review seems to indicate they overcharge to manage assets for the disadvantaged. Sad to see this in the time of a pandemic. This was the headline in 2021 - Review of Queensland Public Trustee's fees and charges finds shortfall in legal duties and community expectations

Waited on hold for 22 minutes and 35 seconds and then they have the gaul to say "the person you are contacting isn't available, please leave a short message"
