We recently decided to change who we wanted as the Executor of our estate and, on the recommendation of a friend, we elected to put our trust in DBL Solicitors to facilitate that process and selected the Wynnum branch as it is closest to where we live.
We believe that it is the best decision that we have made as Mark, a principle of the law firm, and his staff created an atmosphere that was welcoming, friendly and completely set us at ease. Mark was thorough in briefing us as to the legalities and requirements in relation to administering deceased’s estates and how our documents would be handled and stored once they had been completed. He also handled any notifications that needed to be made to other invested parties and made us feel comfortable that he would provide assistance should our nominated Executor require help in administering our estates.
We had already appointed an Enduring Power of Attorney, but Mark guided us into making new Wills and creating two new documents that would cover the management of any health issues in our advancing years, where necessary, and, importantly, ease the process of estate distribution once we had passed.
