Michael and the ladies are extremely hard working and thorough in what they do. I wouldnt feel comfortable walking into a courtroom being represented by anyone other than Michael and his team. Special mention to Bridgette at reception whose smile, attitude and beautiful phone voice and manner could make anybody smile on the worst of days! Thanks again guys!

Absolutely A Grade quality. Got me the minimum for everything after portraying my side of the story. Concepts sharp as a tack. Micheal great to work with as were the whole team. Appeared on my behalf, punctual and attentive in the lead up to the court date. Highly recommended.

Before I knew it, the whole process was over and I got an amazing result that I never expected. The quality of service I received really made me confident throughout the whole process. Gatenby Lawyers would be the most pathetic Law firm I have ever had the displeasure in dealing with legal issues. The lawyers never return calls or contact you the client, in any form, that being a telephone call, email or sms. You the client have to chase them for the paper work. I had my initial meeting which progressed well and was quoted a reasonable price. Then I never heard a word from lawyers or their staff for 2 weeks. I rang to enquire why no emails or contact has been made with regarding my case 4 days before my court date. The front desk informed me the lawyer would ring me back. No phone call is returned. The day before the court date I rang again, and asked why have I not received a call or email on proceedings and pricing. The firm finally sent me an email, they got my name, postcode and pricing all wrong, wanted to charge me 2 and a half times the original quoted price. The office assistant said that they would never have quoted that low amount. I refused to pay after they quoted a certain price to my face and then I am informed my lawyer will contact me that night to discuss payment amount. No call is received. The firm then expected me to pay the night before after no contact about payment, court time or any proceedings that had been made previously. The day of the court appearance I appeared before the court, still no contact on where my lawyer is or whether my lawyer is showing up. I represented myself in court, adjourning my case due to no lawyer contact, telling me any information about Lawyers being there at all or that they are in another court room case. I now have to appear again on another date, wasting more of my time.
I find this extremely poor practice, with information wrong, not returning calls or contacting a client in any form, I will never recommend this firm to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. Absolutely terrible service, if there is a more important matter on the same day as yours all they do is either adjourn your matter or send a town agent. As for bills there is no account set up they just charge you what they feel like charging. How this firm is still in business is unbelievable. Worst practice on the Gold Coast
