Looked after my case through a legal aid funding, were more worried about getting paid then to actually listen to my concerns. Explained what happened in regards to my arrest,and that I was not legally arrested in the first place l, which lead to an assault police charge (whilst in custody illegally). Explained it all, no understanding from the lawyer. Just sent through a authority to plead guilty form.
Contacted by them and asked to come in for an appointment prior to my next court date, they gave me a time and day- I attended and was told the lawyer was unavailable and that she or her assistant would be in touch to schedule another day. No contact from them so I made attempts on twice to schedule an appointment, each time placed on hold for an extended period of time before the call being directed back to reception, was told again they'd make contact. Called again, again placed on hold. Then was sent an email accusing me of not making attempts to contact them and that they hadn't heard from me, subsequently withdrawing from being my legal representative, not even 48 before my court date. Called them again and low and whole, suprisingly the lawyer was available and again accused me of not making attempts.

On one of the court dates where the case would have been finalised, they had a lawyer from Stuart Burr & Mayr Lawyers appear on there behalf because the lawyer from this office was on holidays. Stuart Burr & Mayr must be a great office to have a competing law firm on the peninsula hire their services.

I had a trial at the district court on a charged of AOBH, CA , which could easily led to me spending time in the big house,but they did a fabulous job and give me some very good advice.that made me put all my faith and trust in them.In all they did an awesome job which ended in a very successful outcome of not guilty!
