UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES have your Will or your loved ones Will held by the Public Trustee to administer. My sister and I had the most soul destroying journey with them after our father died. Not only was their communication abysmal, it took well over 12 months to settle our dads estate. We were also charged over $80,000 for their ‘services’. We have complained to the PT and the Ombudsman to no avail. For your own sanity - if you have elderly parents with their Will held by the Public Trustee, have it removed and placed with a solicitor immediately. We spoke with a solicitor and they would have charged us $13,000 to do the same job in a quarter of the time. There needs to be a government enquiry into this disgraceful company.

Horrible experience. The Public Trustee said one thing then did another without giving me notice or a reason, when pressed after 7 months of to and fro they offered minimal financial compensation for their incompetent decision making. No apology. No itemised statement for their huge fees. If you are grieving a loved one you definitely do not need the Public Trustee involved as they caused extra unnecessary stress

I would give zero if I could. None of the promises on their website are true, they charge a huge amount, are extremely harsh, slow, and sloppy, and it’s impossible to get out of the contract (without going to court).

Literally the worst business ever encountered the staff hang up constantly without warning, they are verbally, mentally and financially abusing me they are shifting my money and charging me adminstration fees and I haven't even be able to spend let alone request any of the finances. If anyone is considering using this service do everyone and yourself a solid don't sign up YOU WILL INSTANTLY REGRET IT IF YOU DO!!!!!!! TRIGGER WARNING to everyone already suffering from Ill fate do not sign up.!!!!
