Karen is professional and respectful. She's thorough and precise. 4 stars because the place that deals with paper all the time does not have an envelope for the expensive service it renders! These are important documents that people like to keep clean and straight. You'd assume such place would offer envelopes, folders, pockets, some sort of protection for the documents even at an extra cost!

Today was rainy and my $80 worth of 2 pieces of paper would get ruined if I didn't have my own folder with me. So, just a heads up!

Update: Don't ever let a Notary or anybody tell you that you can get a death benefit from the Federal government just to put you off the crippling fees they force on you during extremely vulnerable emotional events. I am still unable to pay for my Mother's burial or probate fees. I am stuck with a massive burden when i cared for my Mother for 24 years with zero help from anybody...Predatory bully. Charges junk fees (software use? 200$, conveyance fee 100$ for a conveyance that didn't happen). Fees not noted on price list. Charged over half the cost of job upfront when my Mother was in hospital suffering. Karen yelled at me on several occasions on the phone for issues that were rooted in the buyers end of deal. The agreement of purchase was totally meaningless & Karen failed to protect our interests by not studying page 2 of said document that clearly states the non binding nature of a contract drawn up by an amateur on the buyers end. Karen chose to do paperwork months ahead of a real estate deal that fell through due to buyer financing not being in place. Karen also tried to coerce me into giving my tenants notice to vacate when there was zero assurance of any sale closing, which left me with zero income heading into this winter, as tenants vacated when i spoke with them as she suggested. I've worked for a judge & 2 lawyers. One of those lawyers is a judge now. Had we ever treated anyone the way Karen Graham does, we would have been fired immediately. I asked her if she could refund me sum of the deposit, so that i could afford the burial fees for my Mother. She refused while saying she "understands". I asked that the deposit be reduced & fees be taken out of closing costs. Karen refused. I can no longer continue with this sort of abusive treatment that we paid for. I tried to ask questions but she always said she had other customers waiting. I said why not call when you have time to speak with me, your customer?. My tiny family is out over a thousand dollars & zero was accomplished due to Karen Graham not listening & using shark tactics against a troubled family. She refused to attend at hospital for signatures, (she advertised hospital visits as an option) i ran back n forth instead. She also seemed to not acknowledge my power of attorney signed many years ago now. Please don't waste your time or money on this vicious predator. I will be following up with the governing body of notaries. I felt pressured to continue with this notary & was going to continue with a future transaction, so as not to waste the outrageous deposit, but decided i don't deserve being treated like Garbage. I am grieving the loss of my Mother, who passed away this week & have a huge task ahead with her estate matters. I didn't need this harsh treatment. Absolutely shocking greed displayed here, after i explained up front that we have limited cash flow & only have value in the property. Karen Graham only seems concerned with her bottom line & her own liability. Rough handling of Customers seems second nature here.
