I cannot recommend Michael Paterson highly enough! I found myself in a complicated property situation where the house I purchased turned out to be non-compliant with local council planning approvals. I purchased the property in good faith and the issue only came to light when I went to resell it. Despite working with the council, I was unable to resolve the issue. Michael guided me through the process of lodging formal complaints with the Building Commission and assisted with drafting of a letter to the previous owners seeking compensation, as it was clear both the builder and previous owners knowingly sold me the non-compliant property. Much to my surprise and relief the previous owners agreed to purchase the house back from me at a fair market price. Throughout the process Michael was extremely supportive and explained each step clearly in a way I could understand.
