Margaret handled both the purchase of our house and my ex-husband buying me out at financial settlement of our divorce proceedings. We married after we purchased the house and at Margaret's advice against changing the title into my married name we encountered problems during financial settlement due to the discrepancy. After originally being supplied documentation I was told would take care of the name change and facilitate settlement, approximately a month later I was informed I needed to fill out additional paperwork which would prolong the proceedings. As Gateway Settlement was aware from the beginning of the settlement process there had been a name change and there was a time frame imposed by the court on settlement, I can only assume incompetence on the part of Gateway's staff that all relevant paperwork was not supplied in a timely manner/with the original documentation I was sent. Gateway settlement sent me two emails regarding the required additional paperwork without sending me the actual paperwork required. When the paperwork did arrive, after a phone call to the business, it referred to my ex-husband by the incorrect name and was dated 2016 instead of 2021.

Additionally I found it unprofessional their phone number automatically comes up under a seemingly unrelated person's name when they call, the email address is attributed to Margaret, and the emails are signed from another person's nams. In these days of internet scams it instantly made me suspicious when dealing with this business. There also seemed to be very little communication between collegues as when I spoke to the business owner Margaret she couldn't tell me why her worker had left me a message (I was returning her call) - she simply didn't know. I also had to frequently correct her on the nature of our case. When approached to air grievances I was mainly ignored and informed that the problems we'd encountered were my fault.

0/10 Would never use again. Do not recommend.
