I was shocked to be rudely dealt with by this lawyer's receptionist. I was explaining that there was an enquiry about two seperate rulings meaning one could ensure the lawyer could represent my partner in custody and the other meant they could not represent which was already knowledge that was understood.
The secretary turned out to be David's wife and aggressively bit my head off claiming they are not the same thing and she had been in that business for a long time. Yes my partner was appealing a sentence decision and the bail he wanted representation of was all part of the appeals process but the two differences i was pointing out was one could be represented and one couldn't by David. Also the final decision and outcome of the appeal may mean no success in which the bail is separated from the out come of the decision meaning no taking the time out into account.
Some people are so rude she raised her voice i knew what i meant but i kept quiet. Then David manera rang my partner in prison to tell him never do i phone him again as i was the rude one.
He never was on my partners side and i think the 20 months was harsh considering everything.

My son has Mr Manera currently as his lawyer. Both my son and i cringe everytime we ring the office as we are always welcomed very coldly and rudely by the receptionist.
I have been told that I'm telling the lawyer how to do his job(this has never been the case).
Mr Manera i have found to come across as quite arrogant and non informative in regards to information we have been seeking.
The professionalism displayed i have found to be very poor and there is no empathy or understanding to the client or the clients family.
I encourage that if you want a lawyer that will fight in your best interest and to help get the best possible outcome definitely look elsewhere as in our particular case he has taken this matter personally and not professionally.
