We previously used Legal Consolidated for our wills and power of attorney documents, and were very happy. So we thought we'd use them again as we wanted to form a new company. Unfortunately this time, the experience was the complete opposite of previously.

Firstly, they sent us the wrong company documents. As in, they emailed us someone else's company documents.

Secondly, when they sent through our correct company documents, there were countless formatting errors in most of the documents. We highlighted the formatting errors, but only a few would be fixed with each request. It then became a ridiculous situation where we would have to keep highlighting where the formatting errors were, only to receive a reply with 10% of the errors fixed. In frustration, they decided to send us the Word document so we could fix the formatting errors ourselves!!

We told them we were very dissatisfied with this process. We expect a quality document from start to finish, and we do not want to have to proofread every single page ourselves to look for errors.

So after two weeks, they apologised and finally sent a set of documents where 99% of the formatting errors have been fixed. And yet, there was a final document with some errors in it. Are we being picky? We don't think so - after all, these are legal documents which have to be detailed and thoroughly checked. We don't want to run into problems in the future with our company because the legal firm we paid did not do their job properly.

We highlighted these final errors, and we have yet to hear about these being fixed. This has been a very frustrating process which has still not yet been resolved.
