Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We had to drive 260km round trip with our ID doc’s and to sign settlement papers. Surely in this technological age, this could be done electronically. Settlement went ahead, then 2 days post settlement we were asked for another $5000 due to one of Amity’s staff making an error on the statement. We stupidly agreed to pay the $5000 and the bank account details on the statement were incorrect. Luckily I called to confirm the account details prior to transferring the money otherwise I would have transferred to an incorrect account. I would have thought due to Amity’s incompetence that they would have offered a discount on the settlement fee. A bit of a comedy of errors Amity. I would never recommend Amity to anyone.

DISGRACEFUL Customer Service.
My partner has been waiting over 8 weeks for his settlement.
We placed an offer on our dream house and were quickly accepted with 28 days to get things sorted on our end. Prior to our offer, we intended to settle 7 weeks ago. It has been a total of 8 weeks, 9 weeks on Monday with no outcome. My partner has called everyday to resolve this matter - we have been told several ridiculous reasons such as we didn’t know it had to be paper instead of digital, and, we didn’t know it had arrived to us.
It is embarrassing as a settlement agency to leave your clients waiting this long. We are stressed - and don’t want to lose something we have waited a really long time for. Disgraceful work ethic and disgusting excuses. I do not recommend this agency to anyone. Please get our settlement sorted.
