Driving through Mt Barker we stoppel at this small town butcher and were amazed at the variety, pricing and quality. The owner was friendly and very helpful... He even offered to carry our now box of meat ( stopped for one thing) out to the car for us. If your holidaying and passing through definitely stop in and get your meat you will love it!

Country freindly kind of place, very helpful and rightly proud of what they do. Beautiful homemade sausages, duck with fennel was a knockout. Superb home smoked ham hocks, absolutely perfect in a slow cooked winter's soup. This and the bakery are two must do stops when passing through Mt Barker.

We bought marinated pork spare ribs yesterday on our travels through Mount Barker. To say they are the best we have ever had would be an understatement. We are kicking ourselves that we did buy in bulk! Any chance for the marinade recipe or failing that, do you deliver to Perth?

Travelled back from the south coast via Mt Barker and decided to fill the esky with some meat from a country butcher. We've just eaten 2 amazing porterhouse steaks. Best we have had in years! If you call ahead (24hrs) they might put together one of their boxes for you.

Called in to the local butcher while visiting from Albany. Am now thinking we will call in a lot more often !!! Best , best chops and sausages we have had in years. Just soooo good !!!
