I walked in to the Toodyay office a couple of months ago with every intention of listing my home for sale. I swiftly walked back out when I discovered they’ve employed the town’s biggest spreader of hateful and malicious gossip and untruths….as a real estate agent? I’m of the common-sense generation that values integrity and professionalism when it comes to matters of confidentiality. I would never be compelled to walk through those doors again and am so glad I listed through another local agent, where i know my values are respected and my private business would not be a discussion point at IGA.

My husband and I recently finished our rental lease with Tony Maddox Real Estate after a two year lease period. Right through our lease from signing up to the end of lease process, Tiffany was a pleasure to deal with and we found her to be very approachable, understanding and fair. She looks out for the interests of both tenant and landlord, a nice balance that we haven’t experienced in many previous real estate agencies. We won’t hesitate to return to Tiffany in future as tenant or landlord.

Sharon and Faith (and previously, Tiffany) are lovely, and competent; however, the proprietor is not, and I'm not sure they always act in good faith. Elders are now offering property management services so I'd probably go there first for Merredin owners.

Yes they did sell our property BUT......We were happy when we first signed up to sell our place but once our agent left and our place was passed onto another agent things turned harder. We were constantly pushed to pay for advertising with no results to back it up. When I offered to show the agent around our property and explain a few things he said "no, if there are any questions I will ring you" I found this strange because the more you know about a place the easier it is to point out positive things to the potential buyer....? Once an offer was signed and accepted we felt like they forgot about us. The buyer was basically left to figure it out by himself and was not even aware of the change in settlement date until 4 days before settlement, disbite us asking to get it all agreed to in writing as the agent had put down a public holiday as the settlement date. We had to organize the final inspection ourselves and the agent didn't even bother to respond or show up for it disbite being included on all the emails. We were told that the purchaser was hard to contact and get information from, we had no problem and they responded to our emails within a few hours...! We also found out that the deposit was not paid disbite it being almost three weeks after the offer was accepted. They had no intention of telling us.. There knowledge of the inspection annexures was poor and made the whole process very stressful. I have little confidence in them and would not recommend them. It's a shame as with it being a slow market at the moment you would think they would be bending over backwards to make a deal go as smooth as possible....? Disappointed.......
