Willagee library is being renovated until April 2024. They have a pop up library at the Willagee Community Centre. The story time on Tuesday 10a.m is a wonderful time, its a mix of story and rhymes, and then some activities for kids.

Great little hidden gem! Approachable staff, the online catalogue is easy to navigate around, easy hassle free check out for books, free holds, and free access to the AFR. What more could you want from a local council library?

The library is clearly not the newest one around but it has all the facilities you would expect at other newer public libraries. Computers, loan machines, photocopy and printing services, kids corner and book shelves all look as modern and well-maintained as the newer libraries and you won't be short-changed here. Bonus for me would be the comfortable sofas all around the library which not all libraries have.

The only minor letdown for me would be the size of the library which is rather small. Drop by if you're in the area!

I came to the library to work on a uni essay while my car was getting serviced and had to leave after 15 minutes as there was some sort of Childrens class singing nursery rhymes. Great that this is offered for kids/mums but I was expecting a quiet as it’s a library.
