I visited the doctor in Crace Medical center after hours because I needed relief from severe pain. The next day, when the shops opened, I tried to get the prescribed medicine from various pharmacies, but it was unavailable. I called the receptionist, and she informed me that I would need to wait until the doctor returns to change the prescription. If the doctor doesn’t come for 10 days, my money will be wasted. She also suggested that if I want the prescription changed immediately, I would need to book another appointment with a different doctor, meaning I would have to pay again. This is not my fault—the doctor should prescribe medication that is available. I paid an extra after-hours fee, yet I am still without proper treatment and medication.

If you want your GP to treat you like a patient who at least can try to understand and feel your concern, then this is not the right place.

Definitely not if you want to pay the reasonable amount for the service. Just be very careful they charge the overtime rate making you wait and a doc is really slow to complete the appointment on time.
Absolutely waste of time and money. worst experience I ever had, I regret it that why I book an appointment with them without reading the reviews.

Upon arrival, receptionist seemed annoyed and short. I have updated my details several times with details still not done or checked.
Nurse was lovely like always, polite and seemed genuine about my son’s development.
Doctor asked questions but didn’t listen because she would ask the same thing after I had just finished explaining things. She seemed more concerned about ticking off what needed without actually caring about the patient. Won’t be returning after this experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Pavi for nearly four years, and she has been the primary doctor for my entire family. she is incredibly friendly and approachable, making every visit a comfortable experience. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a caring and knowledgeable doctor.

One of best experiences with GP's here in Canberra. Dr Dora is 1 of the best GP's I've been to. She's so thorough and takes her time to explain everything in detail. I would recommend her as I feel she knows her patients really well and she tries to make them comfortable and attend to their concerns in a very polite and understanding manner. Big thumbs up for her 👍

We take our baby here for his vaccinations and keep coming back because the practice nurse is so excellent. We're always seen on time and our baby hardly cries when he gets his shots because she's so quick and great at keeping him distracted. She's also really knowledgeable and clearly cares about her patients.

I went to see a doctor as my GP was on leave. I want to get a approval form signed for my work. Dr Matin said that we have to wait for canberra hospital to reply back and we have to wait till next day to get the exact reports. I just spent hardly 5 mins with doctor. because, nothing was done and doctor asked me to wait outside to print forms. I just left the place because I felt not worth it. Then grumpy receptionists rang up and asked me to pay $80 for short appointment over the phone. I ran back to the medical centre and doctor agreed on signing the forms and again signatures took another 2 mins. Receptionists asked me to pay $135 for long appointments as I came to the centre twice. I don’t understand what is wrong with doctors these days. Is this profession for service/ help or just ripping off the patients who are already going through tough phase of their lives. Disgusting experience ever!!

Convenient as you can book a doctor on the day most days as opposed to other practices where you have to wait days or even weeks. However, I recently had an appointment with a GP to get a referral for an immunologist for adults. I called the Immunologist only to be told the referral was faxed back as they only see children. Instead of the GP contacting me to send the correct referral, I get a text message asking to book an appointment for a non urgent result. This was the doctor’s mistake and I shouldn’t really be paying another visit just so she could give me the correct referral. I might book again if desperate, but never again with the same GP I’ve seen.
