Worst ever post office experience in the country. Even after having appointment for passport application we were turned away due to long que and parcels coming in!!! Ridiculous!!!
Do not understand the need for an appointment if you are turned away to serve the walk in`s!!
The male staff was willing to process the appointment but one of the female staff was so impatient and advised him not to proceed.

Today I visited Postoffice Mawson ACT 2607 for submission of my passport documents. It was really great experience . Berri gave my the best service. She was very helpful and kind to me.

The staff here are usually friendly and try to help... But, their delivery people are useless. 4 times they have lost a parcel and I have had to lodge an investigation because they are simply too lazy to deliver to the address on the label!
If this wan a private company it would have been out of business years ago.

For those parcels cannot leave at the door, it could be super painful. My roommate is waiting in the kithen where is just the front door to. She did not hear the postman's knocking. And, my window is facing the front yard. I saw postman come and when I went downstairs to get may parcel, only the blue piece of paper there..... and the post office shut down during the weekend......

Ok, I just came here to say that this post office has incorrect hours listed on Google Maps which is super annoying for someone who left their job an hour early for it to be already closed. Ridiculous, unprofessional, we definitely deserve better from a Government organisation especially during a pandemic. I'm writing this after arriving and have already seen multiple people come past disappointed in minutes.

This is probably a two star offence, but I come here to see all these fake reviews? Again on a government organisation. I have never had particularly good customer service and this post office moves the slowest of anything I have ever seen so no way it could have such a high rating.

Saying that, the lady that ended up serving me was quite nice but I stand by my first two points.

I've been visiting for years as my PO Box is there. I was told today I couldn't collect my package because my name isn't on the PO Box (it's a company box which I am a director of?). They then told me the error needed to be rectified asap. I asked why is this now an issue years later and they said it should have been rectified years ago and blamed 'casual staff' or 'older staff' for letting it go unnoticed for so many years. They then stated they are 'doing me a favour' by allowing me to collect my package this time. When I asked if I could fix online so I don't need to take time out of my already hectic schedule they said no and that my HUSBAND needed to sign some form and bring it back. Highly sexist, totally unacceptable and completely wrong on every level. They didn't even admit it was an error on their side. Maybe take some blame, Aus Post and learn to apologise for a 'significant error' (your words quoted from today).
