Highly recommend Acorn Lawyers. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The best law firm. Peter williamson was my solicitor back in 2000 while I was going through my separation and fighting over my children custody, family settlement etc. We won the case.
2014 I again had Peter contesting me again over my late mother's will again we won, Peter goes beyond and above for his work, he shows his dedication and passion. I couldn't ask for a better lawyer.

Acorn have represented my parents for many years. They've both passed, and my mother's estate was particularly complicated by historical family tensions. Senior partner Peter came back from retirement to involve himself, every member of the Acorn team (including newcomers and trainees) was capable, competent and caring. From the outset (and through a sad process that has taken some years) the entire Acorn team from the top down has been sympathetic to my mother's intentions and wonderfully supportive of me as executor - personally, legally and administratively. At every stage they have provided wise counsel, sensible guidance and pragmatic practical advice. Their fees have been reasonable, explained well in advance and I'm absolutely sure kept to the minimum for a matter that may well have depleted my mother's bequests disproportionally. At every stage I felt well-looked after and supported. If there were a six star option I would give it.

my experience was a real letdown. I felt I was lied to by my family solicitor, set up for failure by them when options exceeded putting me at the mercy of family control and all done so under the guise of making me look reasonable when reality had it that they never listened to me nor fought for my integrity and rights as a loving father.
Honest opinion, they are traitors with some gremlin in the attic.

I would not recommend Family Solicitors in the firm at Wollongong. Spent so much money just to come to learn later on that there was so much more that lawyer could've advocated on. This was a Senior solicitor, perhaps prejudice also but certainly did not do much. Have sought alternative legal advice and they have been shocked to learn what was not explained or considered. $15K later what a waste of every cent. Do not recommend. Go spend more money on a more experienced solicitor than waste your money on someone who actually should still be getting paid as a junior.
