Good quality groceries fresh and canned. Service with a smile and a helping hand for old folk who need a 'carry out'. Not as full a range as I'd like but have many items that are hard to source elsewhere, e.g. pickling spice.

They make most of the salads themselves!

Try the broccoli salad, or the mango salad - they are to die for. Just leave me some!

They have as good a variety as Coles, but you get to support local owners. I also like that they sell drought support cards at the counter.

I have shopped at IGA in Eden, New South Wales. The staff are great. As an independent grocer, they support the local community. Yes, they are slightly more expensive than Coles. However, their fruit and vegetables are locally sourced and very fresh. I also enjoy their prepared salad range.
