Stupid many crims walk in and out of this place with a slap on the wrist and nothing more judges there are too weak on our laws and this is why Albury is so bad cause thay let the crims walk outta there like a parade for the most horific crimes from bulgry, home invasions assult and much more and this is the review thay deserve till tougher penalties are brought forward towards crims and rat bags

I will say on a good note the place inside is very neat and tidy there and staff are very professional in there jobs but ill still only leave 1 star till the judges wake up to them self and help Albury and wodonga police give these rat bags the punishments thay deserve and Albury police can finaly keep crime outta our once great place of Albury.

The Chief Registrar was nothing short of obstructive in my request for her to Witness a signature on a NSW approved form. She imposed her own set of "additional rules" on a Guardianship request - rules not set out or even required by the Legal Author of the form. As a Public Servant, she has no right to alter NSW Law...and as a Witness no right to even read the content other than that of the Witness page. Note that the form in question was not even being lodged at this particular court...it just required Proof of Identity from the signatories. PS/ As it is a loose-leaf form, validating it for completeness or accuracy is moot, as pages can be swapped after witnessing anyway...The Ombudsman is the next port of call on this lack of service.

The phone number is for a call centre so if your trying to call the albury local court your wasting your time and they are false advertising a number that doesn't even belong to the court the call centre can send them an email so cut out the middle man and email them yourself you'll get a quicker response

Magistrate Brender sentenced Ms Atwell to 80 hours of community service (40 hours for each offence), to pay Section 30A costs of $144, and prohibited her from owning any animals for 5 years.

Ms Atwell's 2 dogs died. She admitted to abandoning them inside a room of her home for 2 weeks.

However she had stopped feeding them long before that. A 6 month old and a 2.5 year old suffered long before their bodies finally lost life from lack of food. This didn't happen in only 2 weeks. And who can do that? Just leave their animals without care for 2 weeks?

Brender didn't think it was such a big deal though. His light-handed casual regard of the abuse and suffering the animals endured gives you much insight to his level of empathy.

The last thing we need is a man like that holding any kind of position of power. Another review mentioned corruption. Being corrupt is easy only if you're lacking morals and empathy. As he obviously is.

It's disgusting how easily he let her off. A 40 hour stint of community service for each dog? ARE YOU KIDDING ME These dogs suffered every hour of every day for AT LEAST A MONTH!!

And she has to pay a piddley $144 for her cruelty.

What a joke that guy is. Yeah Brender. Way to show the world that you will not stand for neglect and brutality of living beings. You've really outdone yourself. Congrats.

Pleased with my sentence but not please on how they bring in the Border Mail To gather the case and name and shame the individual who committed the crime in the article.
