The library here consists of two floors in addition to the ground floor. I prefer to sit on the first floor, as it is quiet and there is no noise or anything like that. The place is great there for studying and the Internet is very strong.

I have no laptop, so I need to use the computers in the library to study (I lost all of my money buying an iced coffee). Wifi is good, the computers work, and it is relatively quiet. My only gripe with the library is the sound that the chairs make when you try to lean back. It is a 130 decibel squeak with a sound similar to a cacophony of tortured infants screaming at the top of their lungs.

I just was a prisoner of my own toilet stall tonight. I was alone. I was afraid. I was out of toilet paper. There was NO toilet paper within the entire bathroom. I had lost all hope. I was in my darkest hour. I called the front desk from my prison cell (my cubical) and was greeted by Matthew. Matthew, what you did tonight in my opinion has earned you a raise. you had gone ABOVE and BEYOND your duty. The angel commonly referred to as Matthew passed NO judgement (to my face) and said he would come right up to help me. I breathed a sigh of relief. When he came up he said "Oh no, there's no toilet paper in this stall either". before I could even think another thought he said "but don't worry I'm gonna run down to the general store to get some". not even 4 minutes later he appeared with a roll of paper in his hand. Matthew saved my life that day and I hadn't even seen his face. I hope who ever sees this gets to reward and celebrate Matthew the way he deserves. He is my hero.

Thank you Matthew.

UOW library is a well resourced , well networked place full of spaces for quiet research or desks for multi-teams. There's also a great cafe underneath. The hot chocolate with soy milk will help with concentration and creativity. I know, it works for me. The library also has a small but essential classic sheet music selection. One of the better University libraries in NSW.

Regarding the angel that is Matthew:
My son recently came home TRAUMATIZED from a recent trip outside to the library (I wasn’t aware he could read) but he came back hysterical, praising the name of Matthew, an angel, whomst saved him from the depths of hell (the bathroom) with a heavenly gift (a roll of toilet paper). Please give Matthew a raise, that man has saved my son.
