“I had a highly disappointing experience at MLCOA Deakin today. I traveled all the way from Sydney to Canberra to attend an appointment with Dr. Jan Tomlinson. Due to unexpected traffic, I was running a bit late, but I made sure to call the reception to inform them. They assured me to arrive before 1 PM, and I managed to enter the clinic at 12:58 PM. However, to my surprise, the reception informed me that my appointment had been canceled because I was ‘too late.’

Not only was this decision unreasonable given the circumstances, but the behavior of the reception staff was extremely rude and dismissive. After such a long journey and clear communication, this level of customer service was unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone expecting understanding or professionalism.”

I arrived 15 minutes as instructed, only to then wait in the waiting room for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The receptionist kept repeating "Dr. Spear wont be much longer"
eventually i had to leave to get back to work.
Doctors always tend to be busy, but if they were going to be an hour late i would have liked a call to expect delays or a reschedule so i could plan for it.

MLCOA failed to address a complaint about Dr Emma Adams. The rooms are cold and if someone with trauma attends the slamming of doors are very triggering. Unfortunately this place gets 100% of business and therefore never has to try to improve.
