We had the pleasure of applying for Schengen Visa through the Finland embassy in Canberra. We drove from Sydney to Canberra and Janne was wonderful to deal with during the application process. He was super friendly and thoroughly checked our application. Though we were missing some documents, we were given time to email it. Everything was finalised within a week and we couldn’t be more satisfied. With such professionalism along with fantastic customer service, no wonder they have a 5/5 star rating!

I have no doubt at all why the Embassy of Finland has the highest rating of any embassy. The staff member who served us, Sari, was friendly and efficient and made a very good impression on us in just one hour. We could feel fully respected and welcomed. Best embassy I have dealt with, I had to drive from Sydney to Cabrera to get the Schengen visa, were told a list of documents are missing but can submit via email. Upon submission all required documents, visa was granted within 24 hours. I was so impressed. Thanks to Sari , she’s so nice and professional.

The embassy was extremely accommodating and helpful. My wife and I had flown across from Perth to try and get a Schengen Visa for a family holiday we had planned. We had a great experience dealing with the staff. They were on time, professional and understanding, I came in to apply for a Schengen tourist visa for the first time and the staff member was very kind, friendly and thorough with checking my application. Really great to be able to be treated respectfully and was able to deal with someone who were patient and understand my situation. Amazing service. I only went for a passport but got so much more. I got to speak Finnish for the first time in a long time, got advice for my visa and got really good advice on moving to Finland with my partner in the future.
