I have been seeing JMR lawyers for years now to get legal guidance when I have been in a difficult personal situation that had been going on for sometime and other legals firms were not willing to take. I can see a bit of negative feedback which reflects revenge/bitter/ negative comments from the opposition which just shows the outstanding work JMR lawyers do for clients. I was actually recommended JMR and Janelle by another Lawyer who I had engaged previously, but didnt have capacity to help on my family law case. Excellent recommendation. I found Janelle and Tiarna to be incredibly supportive, and acted with clarity, super responsive, and genuinely listened, then advised.
My most valued part was that Janelle was absolutely clear around what to expect, and how to navigate everything. She didnt sugar coat anything, and told it how it was. That set me up to be confident working through the process. Extremely grateful for that part especially.
The fees were completely acceptable and I loved their clear communication on expected costs, but were also helpful in navigating small extensions where needed.

Janelle helped me through a very difficult time with great care, honesty, & professionalism. I cannot put into words how grateful my children & I are for everything they achieved for me when I thought everything was hopeless.

I don’t usually review, however, I want to support JMR in writing because my ex-partner specifically threatened a terrible review after I was able to re-connect with my kids. It’s very sad that people will put a small financial loss ahead of children.

I don’t want to enflame anyone, however, to anyone reading this – BE AWARE of any unjust or exaggeratedly poor reviews based on bitterness or revenge at justice being finally achieved.

Im guessing the less than 5 star reviews are from those who didn’t get what they wanted from the process through no fault of JMR Lawyers.
