Very disappointed the second time we used this company. Was better when it was just “Alroe and O’Sullivans” (when Michelle was around). Would never recommend to anyone. We tried changing solicitors half way through our sale/purchase it was that bad, but it was too far into the contract/s. Our realestate agent had to message us consistently to get things to move on their end.

Someone told me to use Ann. Said he had seen her in court and she was a gun! I can say firsthand, you are forced to use a barrister. Either she is not competent to run a financial settlement independently or she doesn’t trust herself, or she wants to waste your money. 2 years with her and a couple of hundred thousand down the drain. I always had people ask me what are your lawyers actually doing for you. I trusted them. When I made the decision to leave, it was easy. They then tried to embarrass me with my new lawyers after I sent them an email saying how disappointed I was in their service, or lack their of. They actually tried to involve my lawyers. Their work was slow and they were not competent to deal with my matter in a speedy way. Allowed to other side to bully and lie. Didn’t stand up for me in court. And it’s still going over 3 years later. Hopefully they have learned when a narcissist is on the other side, you have to fight hard for the truth to come out. Very disappointing their behaviour during engagement and even more so after I left. And as for the barristers I was forced to use, as Ann was incompetent. Choose wisely people

Now to add more, they new about a judgement that was made and only informed my new lawyers 24 hours before. They also fabricated an invoice from 5 months ago even though I had paid everything and refusing to release paperwork. So unprofessional it’s unbelievable

We engaged Alroe Somers to do the conveyancing on the purchase of a property and found them and in particular Ashley, to be excellent to deal with. Always kept us informed and responded promptly to our queries. Good value for money.
