I made this review solely based on my recent experience at the Runaway Bay Cash Converters. It would great if all staff were properly trained on the policies and procedures as at least 2 of the workers at this store told me things that were not true and management actually had to correct them. I had purchased something with 5 items, 2 of which didn't work so I asked to return or swap. They claimed they couldn't swap them and that I had to return the entire purchase. I made it clear I don't want to return everything, just the things that don't work. A young male staff member claimed that's not possible and an older female worker stated I have to return the entire purchase also. I stated I pre called and asked if this was possible as another male worker informed me over the phone THIS IS POSSIBLE. Their attitude towards me was a bit rude and talking down. I corrected them and told them I was told I'm allowed. They went and spoke to a manager I'm guessing and he said yes I can do that. This experience makes me think these workers don't actually know how to do their job properly. They're giving false information to customers ruining the experience making people not want to buy products from this store. If management could retrain their workers on the correct policies and procedures rather than their opinions this can save them from embarrassment. Also, training on customer service and promoting future interactions is highly recommended also.

I had a great experience at Cash Converters! The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. A special shoutout to Teneal, who went above and beyond to assist me with selling some items. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The store was clean, well-organized, and I was impressed by the range of products available—electronics, jewellery, games, and more. I got a fair price for my items, and Teneal made sure I understood the whole process every step of the way.

Whether you're looking to sell or buy, I highly recommend this location. I'll definitely be back next time I need to sell or purchase something!

I wouldn’t bother dealing with this cash converters store manager liars especially Mathew I rang the store first before I came down from surfers paradise then he bullshits I went into Robina store they tell me to go to runaway bay it’s just all a stuff around don’t waste your time and effort on your products I took brand new items I got as gifts total cost $500 Mathew the waste of time manger says $1 each cash converters will try still from you they are thieves.

This place shouldn't be open, selling stolen goods to you. You complain it's so etc & they treat you like you bought it elsewhere? But we have the receipt & when it's proven do they apologise? No.

Staff change more than Mc Donald's & on an interview to get a job here.
It must be that we rob people selling goods at all costs, giving pitence to them for items. Then sell the gear on for triple the money without any cleaning or proper testing of goods. Treat you like scum if you return faulty goods & the staff are 100% lowlifes here. Avoid this place like you would Covid, rude to females or male it doesn't matter along as they scam you.
