Had a number of sub-par experiences in the years that my family have had a PO Box here but the latest takes the cake. The Australia Post Samford LPO staff gave a parcel from our PO Box to someone with a completely different name and, I later found out, a different PO Box number. I went in to ask what happened as we received an email notifying us of collection. Mei was entirely unhelpful with no apology or explanation offered, though she did freely tell me the exact PO Box number of the person who our parcel was signed out to! Mei was dismissive of our concern, and I thought it particularly unprofessional of her to say that the customer who our parcel was given to is a regular so they'll "just call [us] when he comes in next". The handling of my complaint was appalling. I not only left with no solution, apology or effort toward rectification by the business, but feeling dismissed despite the seriousness of the concern which leads me to believe this is probably a common occurrence for this business...
Samford is a small community, though it seems that this LPO has very little desire to deliver a positive customer experience, nor do they have any concern for the privacy and security of their regrettably loyal customer base.

The worst post office. Junk everywhere when you walk in, barely any room to move around. Owners are rude. Today I get a message to come pick my parcel up ASAP because they are running out of room. Not my problem, I've paid for a service, I might wait the full 10 days i have. Aus post charging More and more and providing less and less.

Why don't you deliver?

We ordered 5 kilo's of vitamins for our horses and paid $48.17 in Australian Post fee's for it to be shipped from NSW to Samsonvale with instructions to leave at our gate as we work from home.

Rather than delivering the package, we've received notice to pu from Samford PO.

My concern is the shipping price is huge but the local service is substandard. Beyond that, it's simply not convenient for us...the customer...given our Monday -Saturday work schedules.

You can do way better...especially for $48.17 in fees.

A very cluttered and confined space. There is too much junket on rows of shelving restricting access to the counters. It is a post office, not a 2 Dollar bargain store......Please make it better by reducing the trinkets for sale and focus on the business it's meant to be.
