Can't get in contact over the phone, attempted to call multiple times over a week long period, left multiple messages that were never returned. Had to travel in multiple times.
Finally at my appointment, the lawyer didn't listen to what my concerns were and wasn't able to assist, continued to talk at me as opposed to listening and going through my concerns with me. Very rude encounter, which is a shame because the initial lawyer I engaged with that actually brought my attention to the existence of "The HUB" was empathetic, listened and was very informative in a way that didn't make me feel demeaned or looked down upon.
Front counter staff were extremely lovely at each point of contact though.

They told me they would help with an urgent matter and I would hear from them within two days.

Three days later said they said they didn't have a booking for advice for another two weeks, after already taking all my details and saying they would make an urgent request.

Then after I had to call them back, the staff member I spoke to gave me the same number that I was speaking to them on and told me to call back and speak to the legal team.

I am not a lawyer and require urgent legal advice. I understand the organisation is helping the community with free legal advice, however they shouldn't have said they could help If they couldn't.

The lawyer I spoke with was I quite rude and unhelpful. She didn’t listen to my questions or provide advice that a 2 second google search wouldn’t have given. She also called half an hour before my scheduled appointment time - which made things difficult for me at work.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Very disappointed with hub legal got told my matter was able to be taken to Court got told by Helen Hawksworth that i had enough proof and evidence then a couple of days later get told i can't take the person to court now due to lack of evidence and proof. Do not give a person false hopes that is really unprofessional coming from a Civil lawyer.
