Priya was a godsend to us as we applied for my husbands partner visa. My husband entered on a tourist visa and Priya helped us understand the bridging visa process, then the application for the partner visa. Although we probably could have done the application ourselves, as we have a young child and have been navigating some challenging circumstances over the past couple years I knew getting the paperwork together was going to be stressful and so we chose to engage a lawyer and Priya was recommended to us. We are very grateful for Priya's patient persistence in encouraging us to get everything together. Being Colombian and not having a traditional "job" history that we could prove and not having the standard documents that Australian Immigration requested (because in Colombia the systems are different) we were nervous that things wouldn't go in our favour. We are thrilled that we "got upgraded" to an 801 visa straight away instead of the 820 then waiting out for the 801.
