I was a client of Catherine Henry Lawyers for about 3 years. I was working on a medical negligence case with Rosemary Listings a now former solicitor. The company went into voluntary administration and therefor Rosemary ceased to work for Catherine Henry and my case was dropped after 3 years. I was not made aware that Rosemary had left until I called the firm SEVERAL times after an update on my case. I was told that there was nobody who could take my case and I would have to seek alternate representation. I found another lawyer willing to take on my case but Catherine Henry REFUSED to release my files without payment of her extortionate fees that she is still trying to claim she is entitled to even though my case was never finalised. So my new lawyer cannot proceed with the case either because Catherine Henry is witholding all my files and also refusing to finalise my case. She is asking that I pay over $40,000.00 dollars for a case that I was told was "no win no fee". My case has a limitation period in October which she is fully aware about so she has left me in a position where I cannot act any further. I have had to contact the office dozens upon dozens of times to get any feedback or answers. I made it clear that I would file an official complaint to the law society to which Catherine called me on her personal number just moments ago and verbally abused me and also threatened me with legal action if I don't stop "harassing the firm" BE VERY CAUTIOUS. Expect to have little to no contact, lagging or no response to emails and complete unjust and unfair treatment if you engage this firm as well as unjust and unfair fees. I will be making a formal complaint to the law society. I have incurred thousands of dollars in medical expenses during the last 3 years on top of all of the stress that this firm has put me and my family through.

I sadly chose to use this law firm, please do not make the same mistake I did. A firm that has been found out on tax fraud are also stealing my deposit as I immediately cut ties with such a corrupt organisation. Every client they have probably has been over charged to cover the 2 million plus in tax scams .. it’s a disgrace that lawyers can act in such a shameful way and still hold a bar license. Catherine Henry Lawyers and Niall Connolly are deceitful and the lowest form of lawyers… who steals from people who only wanted the right thing done.

EDIT I have just found out that they are in voluntary administration! You can google this! Terrible experience. Unprofessional and rude. There are much better lawyers out there than this mob. Go with this bunch at your own risk. My daughter should have paid attention to these bad reviews and gone with someone else. I hope others do.

I found Catherine Henry's firm lacked the expertise and experience to provide the advice I needed. After working with a Senior Solicitor in the firm for over 12 months I left the firm to work with another practice based in Sydney. It was only then that I realised how poor the advise I'd been provided was. When I contacted Catherine Henry herself to request a meeting or phone conversation to provide feedback she was too busy to speak to me. After spending a huge amount of money with the firm for sub standard advise Catherine Henry couldn't even be bothered to speak to me over the phone or in person. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

Was provided inaccurate legal advice by Catherine Henry Lawyers. After spending almost $20k on legal fees and changing to another top firm in Sydney, I realised how poor the information they had provided me actually was. When I wrote to the Catherine Henry to make a complaint she could not be bothered to contact me personally to discuss the matter.

You'll see that your business has many other Google reviews that are very similar to mine and given your Google rating is 3.5 I'd say you have much work to do on the customer service front. All the best with sorting those issues out.
