I highly regret working with Stone Group Lawyers, I was charged nearly five figures for a mere three letters, a fee grossly disproportionate to the work done. Communication was horrible, my emails went unanswered, including those addressing concerns about my experience to one of the partners in the firm.

I had a unique and sensitive matter I entrusted to them and it was handled carelessly and at a glacial pace, resulting in burnout and the unfortunate decision to liquidate a substantial six figure asset rather than pursuing rightful resolution. I only chose one star as this was the lowest I could use.This was the most disappointing experience with a law firm I have ever had. We did contact the Managing Partner to discuss our concerns, however that has been completely ignored. We came to Mia Behlau to assist us with a legal matter. Her professional conduct was terrible after she did not follow instructions and took it upon herself to have an unauthorised discussion with "the other side" and make offers on our behalf without our consent or any discussion. She only informed us of these offers she made days later after we had to keep asking what was happening. In total disbelief a lawyer would do this. She also gave us information that was totally untrue that affected decisions that were made. She was representing both my husband and I and attempted to give me information about him that was also untrue that she got from the opposing side. Additionally, another lawyer brought to our attention that there was a potential conflict of interest which is professional misconduct. I could go on and on with all the things she did in her short time representing us.
