I rang for making an appointment to have a free legal consultation yesterday, but I was told it's full and I cannot have the consultation. The female telephone operator told me to ring the same number 8:30 am every day until I get an appointment which is ridiculous. When I used their service 4 years ago, I could make an appointment with approximately 2 weeks wait, but this time I was told very weird thing and the person hang up the phone while I was still asking a question. Very rude and arrogant response. very very disappointed.

prior to my proceedings but to my surprise legal aid team dealt me so professionally,, just had ended up conversation with Nicole, she guided me in detail through the whole process ... Im with my different account due to certain reason but im really happy with the staff members from operator to a person at counter(assisted me in form filling) to a lawyer,,
I know this land never disappoints me, feeling soo emotional, 👍👍

Cannot even help people who desperately need. I requested help before and was declined. After a year they gave me an appointment and later cancelled because of conflict of interest. They will give reference to their preferred suppliers but they too turning down clients too. I ran out of help to go to.

My sister who is on a low income, tried to get help securing child support from her child's father.
My sister lives below the poverty line but legal aid declined her as they couldn't justify "their costs to fix up the cases"
What are mine and everyone else's taxes paying for exactly?

Won't fund someone on the pension... That needs it because NO ONE WILL HELP THEM!!! CABOOLTURE OFFICE DONT PUT THE FORMS IN ON TIME EITHER OR THEY DONT DO IT AT ALL!!

They didn't find me due to 5k in a account that isn't mine... It's money for the children for emergency like surgery etc... Witch was inheritance... That wasn't mine either!

First time applying was okay when they had different people in the Caboolture office 3-4 year ago....

Legal Aid are a wonderful organisation who do their utmost to help the disadvantaged have a voice in the courts to fight for the parental rights of their children. Without them so many family’s would not have representation in a system that is geared heavily and favourably towards mothers and the wealthy.

The volume level of your answering computer/machine is WAY TOO LOW. Anyone with a hearing loss (20% of the population) will struggle to understand the intended messages. The volume needs to be boosted to the same level as the musak. Please...
