I note reviews about dogs. Today I was there to pay respects, to lay flowers at my family’s grave for Easter.
In the short time I was there I saw dogs urinating on bushes, a dog encouraged by his owner to race backwards and forwards across lawned GRAVES, another one repeatedly sniffing the ground around 2 established lawn graves. Clearly either there was other dog’s urine or faeces which had been removed, there are doggy bags available. For them. There are many more dogs being taken for a walk than before.
Either you or your relatives have paid thousands to have a dignified resting place. For them.
How long before you step in dog faeces? How long before someone is attacked by a loose dog?
Surely Enfield Council can provide a dog park, if not there is one in Kilburn another one in Northfield, take your dogs there.
I wrote to the cemetery outlining my point of view and concerns, if you have concerns don’t just read my review, write to them.
Edit: I wrote a letter of complaint to Enfield Memorial Park, apart from agreeing with me and sympathising they referred me to Enfield council, I’m awaiting contact with them.
If you are thinking of Enfield Memorial Park look elsewhere or you will be in the same position as us.

I visited my father's grave today, to leave flowers for Easter and as soon as I entered the gates I burst into tears seeing the garden bench near his grave used as a rubbish dump, covered in black rubbish bags, with discarded dirty old couch cushions alongside the bench. I couldn't even read my father's headstone because it was covered in dirt and there's no grass surrounding his resting place anymore, just dirt and weeds.
My mum and I were promised over a year ago that they'd clean up the area and do something to the garden bed along the fence line so it looked pretty like other sections of the cemetery grounds but so far nothing has changed, other than the trees and bushes are now dead.
The state of the cemetery and gardens are simply appalling and shows zero respect to those who entrusted Enfield cemetery to be the final resting place for their loved one.
Management seem to be more interested in their cafe rather than keeping the gardens clean and tidy, with green lawns and weed free, and are clearly not interested in the family members who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Disgusting.
My father died in 1976 and in over 40+ years the caretakers have simply lost respect and have let the place go to pack and ruin.

Not sure if you walked around the cemetery recently but I’m very disappointed in the way the lawns are looking. They look like they haven’t been mowed in weeks, dead flowers everywhere. The lawn area in the children’s section is over growing the plaques. This cemetery has never looked this bad.

Today was my son’s birthday so I took flowers to be placed at his resting place. The previous time I visited I was devastated to see the state of the area , but today it was even in worse repair. What used to be a place of peace is now an absolute disgrace. My parents ashes are in the same area as well. I wish I had taken photos of the horror I was faced with, but I see 11 months ago another person has put a photo up of the area and voiced their disgust. It’s horrendous enough to have to visit your son at a cemetery without this disgrace. I came away crying.

Just attended a funeral held in Acadia building. What a walk to new building for meet room (Tea, Coffee & a Biscuit).
I feel so sorry for people who can't walk far or using a walker on wheels as the long trip ... Down Hill going & steep Uphill on return to carpark !
Where is the office now ? I needed to visit latter & told that moved also.

Absolute disgrace... Attending today , Christmas Day, I would assume the busiest day of the year for visitors to find this, re photo....why was this not cleared away? The gardens have gone down heaps in the last 2yrs... I will be taking this up with local M.P

My husband and my parents are buried in the Rose Garden, which used to be stunning. For the last 2 years it has gone to the pack. I have just returned again from being there, & instead of reflecting on memories, I have just filled 2 big black bags of thistles and dead headings. I am absolutely disgusted at the state of the rose garden. An absolute embarrassment that my beautiful family are buried there. It makes me so sad.

We were told that brothers ashes would not be touched until we were there to witness the removal of the ashes in person if we were willing to pay a 150 dollar admin fee. The ashes were removed from the wall while we were not present during the week which we have photographic evidence of.

We took a close up photo on the 9th of February and today when we arrived to witness the removal the plate was chipped and the concrete around the ahses lot was broken away. We were told that nobody would would touch the plot until we arrived Tuesday at 2:00 they told us nobody would touch it before then.

We were adamant every step of communication that we didn't want the wall touched until WE were there to witness the ashes were not tampered with.

Please don't trust this company with your loved ones remains they have no respect for families wishes and only care about charging you a fee.
