Wasn't so sure about Cameron when we first met, but I had been given a good recommendation by someone I trusted.
Everything was explained to me, then as we got to each step it was explained again.
Nothing was too much trouble & when I wouldn't be helped by the insurance company a phone call from Fortitude would quickly have it sorted.
Fortitude Legal could not have done better with my claim, they really put the effort & fight in for me.
They were most mindful of a person illness I was also recovering from at that time

I wouldn't recommend these guys at all!. I worked with a lawyer from this firm named Fiona Goodie and when I expressed my concerns to her that I wouldn't be able to hold my composer in court she just waved it off like my concerns didn't matter at all. I had expressed extreme concern that if I couldn't regulate my emotions & control my behaviour as I have a behavioural disorder. I was genuinely worried I'd be found to be in contempt of the court or proceedings and would be unfairly & unnecessarily incarcerated for a potentially unknown amount of time. I mentioned that I knew contempt works differently in Aus than it does in the USA like a lot of people who just watch to much TV would assume. However she told me that she didn't know how the contempt of court laws worked & after that I immediately knew that she couldn't be right because no lawyer gets through law school without learning how they and their clients can & can't conduct themselves in a court of law. Because i actually asked the question she is obligated by law to at least attempt to explain it to me. Instead she pretended not to know the contempt of court laws. I believe this constitutes a direct breach of ethics as lawyers have a sworn duty to not only uphold the law but also to defend a client to the best of their ability & by not assisting or even trying to explain to me her higher understanding then what was i actually paying her for?. Plus she offered no other advice or strategies to help me with my legal claim. Needless to say I fired her immediately when as an Australian certified lawyer she either didn't know or pretended not to know contempt law. ⚖️

You can send my bill to the debit collectors because when I rang you the other day I had actually forgotten the full reason I sacked you. Enjoy getting it at about $20 per fortnight for the next 10 years!

Where do I start! From my first conversation with Cameron, and then Fiona (& their staff Jenni & Ashlee) I have felt heard, understood & informed. Knowledgeable, articulate, understanding & empathetic all the way through. Nothing was too much trouble - even having to repeat themselves for me when I didn't quite get it!
