If you have found yourself searching Google reviews for a criminal lawyer, chances are you are heading to court and nervous about the outcome. My personal experience with Balot Reilly Criminal Lawyers delivered the kind of results that I’m still finding hard to believe.

I was charged with a handful of offences after an “alleged” road rage incident that left two cars written off, totalling $58K. Thankfully no-one was hurt in the collision(s), in which I maintain my innocence, unfortunately the Police felt otherwise.

If found guilty, at best I was looking at a lengthy loss of licence and a $58K insurance debt. If convicted I would have lost employment, my licence, and my freedom. I am a single father with an eleven-year-old boy.

Having had experience with good and bad lawyers in my colourful past, I know that quality legal representation can make the difference between freedom or incarceration. Make no mistake about it, in the criminal courts there is no substitute for quality, do not let cost determine your outcome. You will get what you pay for, period.

George came highly recommended and after my first visit, I understood why. He is the type of criminal lawyer that you only really see in the movies, he lives-and-breathes-the-law!! After sitting with George for coffee throughout my court appearances I realise that law isn’t just his job, it is also his hobby. The man is truly obsessed! (No offence intended George!).

I left his office with and a list of tasks to complete before my appearance and a new sense of confidence. George’s attention to detail and diligence is what impressed me the most, after reviewing my brief he developed quite a defence plan, he also had a few questions around a lack of supplied evidence, and the actual filing of the charges.

Come my day at court George sat with the prosecutor before the appearance and negotiated for at least 25 minutes. The negotiation was intense, involving the prosecutor and then her superior, I didn’t know what was going on, but it did not look good.

Long-story-short, all 5 charges were dismissed before appearance?!!! Completely withdrawn, it was like the incident never happened! Without doubt 99% percent of lawyers would have had me plead to a lesser charge, but George was adamant that he had a good chance of clearing my name.

Thanks a million, to George, Luke, and the Balot Reilly team. I have never left a review like this for anything or anyone, but feel I owe it to George and the team at Balot Reilly for the outstanding result delivered. I truly hope I never have the need for George’s services again but know who to call should the situation arise (knock on wood).

DIVERSION SECURED (FRAUD CHARGE)

From the very start, i had called several other law firms in regarding my charge and what my possible outcomes were.

All the lawfirms I had phoned, told me about how getting a non-conviction is easy, however i've never been nor crossed with any police matter, so I was naïve and thought this was ok and I was happy.

A dozen more calls later, I called George Balot and he answered, and had FULLY explained what my possible outcomes were and that the best outcome here was to get a diversion and was the only lawfirm to explain this. A diversion is exactly what you want, especially if you're a first time offender.

Without their preparation, diligent work, none of this would be possible, especially a diversion being closed in 1 appearance.

These guys are well worth the money, and I guarantee you, saving 2-4k by choosing to opt for "cheaper" law firm will bite you later down the line. Spend your money right from the beginning and these guys will take care of you and get you the best possible outcome.
