TLDR: Extremely poor communication/customer service

We were recommended Blaak and Huynh by our property investment company as they can provide conveyancing services for properties across Australia. As it was our first time investing in property and were unaware of the processes, we were extremely confused with our contracts and what the clauses entailed. Our contracts were also due close to Christmas which complicated the deadlines.

We were expecting our contracts to be explained to us (in brief) prior to signing but it seems like this is not a common process. My wife had her contracts explained to her but mine were not, due to time constraints, even though it was miscommunicated to me that it would. I was advised to listen to the explanations provided about my wife's contracts and that this should equip me to read my own contracts and understand the clauses in the 100+ pages.

After voicing our confusion and concerns, a rather petty and accusatory email was sent to us from Blaak and Huynh blaming us for the miscommunication throughout the process. No apology was issued.

Although we are sure that Blaak and Huynh can provide good legal services, we were disappointed with the poor communication and customer service. We could no longer work with Blaak and Huynh for this reason and decided to terminate all our engagements and contracts with them.
