I would not recommend Jodie, she did not turn up to my court case or advise me of her intention not to turn up or give me the option. I had to ring her and ask her where the hell was she. She did not follow through on what she has stated in the beginning of the case and changed things to suit herself. My interests were neglected, nothing read or explained to me and I was pressured into signing documents to get my case finalised.

Jodie was fantastic in helping with my situation. She understood my desperation and got me a barrister that was very good at her job. Its not often a male wins in a family matter with children but thanks to Lanham Lawyers the judgement was in my favour and i am greatful and respectful of them.

So why just 3 stars. Well be warned, take every thing they say about costs with a grain of salt and get it in writing so you have something to come back on. I was told that I had to pay everything upfront before a barister could be briefed for my 2 days in court. We knew it was 2 days so there was no extra time to be billed to me.

I paid the amount upfront that was agreed to and won my case. A little while later I recieved an invoice from them and when questioning it I was told it was for the second day at court.

Jodie was very forward in the begining that i was lucky to get the barrister for 2 days at the price i paid upfront for yet denies this was the case. I refused to pay and they got a court judgement against me for te invoiced amount.

My credit rating has been damaged by this so now I battle that problem

A little disappointed. Staff were friendly and fitted me in on short notice but poor outcome and judge was unimpressed by the quality of affidavit they finalized whereas she had never had an issue with those I compiled myself. The advise they gave was a long way from the outcome.
