Aggie Migelakis has managed the conveyancing process for three properties which varied in complexity and value. Throughout the process Aggie was accessible even outside of working hours. I could always make contact and know she would prioritise and action. She was always representing my interest stepping in when needed to address issues especially in the instance where a purchaser was being unreasonable. I would highly recommend Aggie and certainly continue to use her for my property matters.

I was really disappointed to see Qing and guin aloyes advertisement during my session of The Saint of Monaco at Palace Como. In this advertisement an egregious display of artificial intelligence was shown using cartoonish characters clearly for the purposes of luring children. This should be removed from your marketing at once. It is distasteful

Quinn and Quinn came to our rescue when our appointed conveyancing firm was suddenly and unexpectedly sold two weeks prior to our property settlement while we were away in Europe.

We were completely stressed out but with Mr Geoffrey Quinn’s prudent advice, and Ms Aggie Mihelakis’ (the Residential and Commercial Conveyancer) management, we were in safe hands.

Aggie was fantastic, and immediately put our minds at rest. Always available, she provided the advice and the assurance we needed every step of the way, while managing our sale through to a successful and on-time settlement.

I have had 2 recent experiences with this firm. Over the past 3 decades I have been a long-standing client of Geoff Quinn. Towards the end of last year I went to him to get my will done and he was preparing to retire but kindly referred me to a new member called John Liacopoulos. Now John was very good and efficient, and did a great job so I am happy with this experience. So John personally gets 5 stars as a review.

For the second job which involved a simple name change on the title of our residential property, I was referred to a lawyer caller Claire (not sure what her second name was as I never got any communication from her). My wife and I went into the office of Quinn and Quinn on 20th March 2024 and met with Claire who assured us that the job was straightforward and would not take too long. By 19th May 2024 we still had not heard anything from Claire so we rang the office and were told that Claire had left and that the case was assigned now to Aggie Mihelakis. We were not told if Claire had passed the job over to Aggie and Aggie had forgotten about it or if Claire had just forgotten about it and Aggie was not told about it. Either way, there is a problem here with the way the firm processes such "handovers".

Anyway, time passed and it was 24th June 2024 when we started to be concerned and asked Aggie for a progress report on the job. Now Aggie is actually a very nice person but not a great communicator in our experience. Finally, on 25th June we got paperwork from Aggie requesting us to authorise her to start on the job and setting out the fee. That was some progress, this means that from this point forward maybe something will start to happen we thought! Then we again asked Aggie for a progress report on 22 July 2024. Okay, still nothing has happened as far as we were aware. On 29th August 2024, after a few more calls/emails Aggie called us in to the office to sign some papers. Also I was looking for the title in my files and caused a delay of a week or so but I did say that if I could not find it I was prepared to pay for a new one to be generated so I did not want that to slow the procedure down - I did find it and submitted it promptly. So now, I thought at the 29th August 2024 meeting, this was just the final signatures and then the job will be done. Not so however, what she got us to sign was primarily some application forms. Now let's go forward to the last few weeks (October 07 - October 18th, 2024). We were getting concerned that this job was taking forever so I made a few calls to Aggie to ask for progress, ETA, etc. She did not answer the calls. So I called the receptionist, Molly, who actually does answer promptly when you make a phone call! I asked her to ask Aggie to call me back. Anyway two weeks passed and Aggie did not bother to return my calls. So I asked Molly to put me in contact with Geoff Quinn, but she advised that he was now no longer with the firm and I could not contact him (even though the firm is called Quinn & Quinn). So I asked her to speak to the Manager/Director of the company so that I could lodge a formal complaint about the way my title name request was being handled so slowly. Molly advised, as I understood, that the firm seems to be a partnership of several lawyers but there is no Manager as such. She did say there was one person that was more senior than the other partners so I asked her to ask him to contact me. Now that was a week ago and he has not rung me. It was all too much for me so I have now cancelled the job, offering to pay for whatever small amount of work that may have been done and I have now taken the job to a new lawyer in a different firm.

For the rating for the second job Aggie gets a 1 star out of 5, and that's being generous.

So 5 stars for John, 1 star for Claire/Aggie, bringing the average rating to 3 stars.

We felt so looked after by her and felt she really looked out for our best interests, explained things in terms we understood and made the process seamless.
