The lawyer was on leave and didn’t inform me
The lawyer did not inform me the hearing was online didn’t even email me ,he claimed he called but I didn’t receive any email or miss calls.
I found out all this information on the day 15 minutes before hearing
At the lawyer's office, their computer wasn't working properly, so I couldn't hear or participate in the hearing myself.

Not the best first impression. Walked in and was barely greeted with a hand shake or even introducing himself, felt like a petty handshake and no warm presence at all. I met with one of the Senior Lawyers and it felt like he didn’t have the time or day for me. I explained my work related case for compensation and towards the end, he got up and walked the other way leaving the room with no acknowledgement. I’m still confused till this day as to what they could’ve done for me. No way will I ever recommend your company!!

Simply phenomenal from start to finish. Catherine Symes worked very diligently and professionally to get results that exceeded our expectations. Where do I even begin? there aren’t enough words to describe how grateful & thankful I am to have met Rino’s Team - Domenic, Tina & Melissa.
Unlike the other 3 Law Firms who told me that they would have to wait until I win my case to know exactly how much to charge me and in the end they told me that I did not have a case.
Thank I’m so glad that I didn’t give up and called the Law Institute of Victoria who recommended me to Hymanns Lawyers. From that very first phone call they believed in me and took on my case, They went above & beyond and fought for everything that was owing to me including my TPD.

Stay away from them. They gave the impression they would be helpful. Although the fees were commensurate with what legal opinions would charge, I was told nothing new that other solicitors gave me for free. They advertise "no win no fee" but be careful, that would change once you've started the process. They were happy to get a fee up front, but I doubt they put in any work themselves. The reception, the billing and the overall management of the office was terrible. That's not to say that some of the legal staff aren't nice, but I didn't want nice, I wanted to get resolution to my problem. Now I spend my days thinking about the money I paid and the whole injustice of the legal system.
