Warning! Suggest that clients carefully record all time spent with a lawyer from this place, from start to finish. They do not record times, only appointment duration. Lawyer was 15 minutes late to my appointment and they tried to charge me for it. They were quite rude, deceptive and difficult to deal with about this. On the plus side, the advice was helpful, but not worth the stress. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Was recommended to go to Tonkins lawyers by a friend and so glad I went. I finally bit the bullet to go and have my will done and Ash was amazing with helping me through every step of the way. I cannot recommend Tonkin Legal Group, in particular, Shelley and Suzanna highly enough. I have recently bought my first home and they made the whole process seamless. They were in constant contact with me with updates and were always happy to answer my questions. Very appreciative of everything!

Be warned, they charge $450 for an initial meeting before they are even willing to give a rough idea of price. If I want to gauge the quality and costliness of a few different legal options I'd be down well over a grand before any service has actually been provided! Fortunately many other companies charge nothing or less than half this amount for an initial consultation.

So impressed with the quality and service provided by Tonkin Legal Group. I have previously worked in a city law firm, but now work locally in education and Tonkin Legal Group have assisted me with a number of legal and conveyancing matters over several years and have consistently provided excellent, professional service. The team are experienced and knowledgeable and not only communicated with me every step of the way but also cared about me as an individual. They are always prepared to go over and above to meet my needs. I also believe they are reasonably priced, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for legal advice.
