Lucky Google won't allow a review without a star otherwise you'd get nothing from me. Selling my house in Inverell from where I live in Queensland, and had all kinds of trouble. Firstly, my NSW buyer couldn't sign her contract as the solicitor acting for her caught COVID and there was apparently NO-ONE else in the business who could take over until we complained and once again got the ball rolling. Then on day of settlement, despite being told the settlement would go through at 10am Qld time, we were forced to sit outside the house in the heat for nearly 4 hours because the settlement had been pushed back until 12:30pm. When I called to enquire about the holdup, I was met with a closed for lunch message. Finally, Kay (the receptionist, I believe) was able to provide news on what was going on. Despite telling me that "they are being dealt with now", we STILL waited for nearly an hour for it to happen. I know country business is relaxed, but, in terms of legal business, you really should make more of an effort. Especially when I've got a moving truck (that I'm paying by the hour) and a heavily pregnant lady sitting in the sun and heat waiting to get into a house 4 hours after it was supposed to have been settled. I take back what I said about the star... Kay is the only star in the business. Kay gets the star, but the business itself gets zero. Well done Kay.
