Michael Chan is a terrible lawyer. So please be careful. He was very proactive, friendly and optimistic about the application we were considering to make when we first had a consultation with him. He said there is nothing to worry and even said he's been doing this for so long that he knows the people in the immigration department and therefore it will be almost certainly be approved and had us make the payment. There were many questions regarding the application along the journey but he never replied back to us in the email and after a few years of waiting, we've received a final outcome from the department that our application was not approved due to the lack of evidence which should had been picked up by Michael (as that is exactly what we paid him to do). We emailed Michael again for an explanation yet he never got back to us, which is just unbelievable and unprofessional.
