I'm new to the Island and this was my first visit.
My pet hates are other dogs and vets, so wasn't looking forward to going. But Felicity the vet was very nice, had lots of treats and took the time to get to know me. I might go back.

The staff seem so friendly until the bill comes and you can see why. It really feels like they'll take every opportunity to add another expense to the list, even taking advantage of grieving or happy families.
The staff that I've met truly seemed lovely, so I don't know if it's the business owner who makes them squeeze every cent out of the customers or if the kind faces are really just for show.
Either way, make sure you tell them that you won't pay for anything that they don't tell you about upfront - they tend to do a lot of things that drive the bill up without telling you beforehand

The vets are really good at caring for all sorts of animals. They also didn't charge us for our first visit when we brought our rescue kangaroos which is unheard of

Needed some emergency medication whilst visiting for my pooch that decided to make copious amounts of sea water part of his diet, KI vet clinic were most helpful at short notice, which was greatly appreciated. Friendly staff and most accommodating.

Made use of their pet boarding facilities while staying at kangaroo Island on holiday.
They looked after our puppie, while we went on day trips to the conservation parks.
Genuinely caring and friendly staff!
Also offered check up and grooming options while she stayed there.
