We had to take our beautiful elderly cat (nearly 17yrs) Skye, to the vets to have her put to sleep. After a long illness, but recent rapid decline, she was close to passing, but we didn't want to prolong her suffering.

We were met with client service worker Emma, who was absolutely lovely and respectful, seeing us into a quiet room, and allowing us to bring our other cat (16yrs) in with us to say goodbye to Skye.

We were tended to by Vet Nurse Abbey, and Veterinarian Henry. My goodness what beautiful people. They were so professional, but also very gentle in the way they explained the process, and in the way they treated Skye, as well as my daughter and I. Very respectful and kind. This made the whole process of losing our baby bearable.

We were offered the option of a printed foot print or clay. We chose the clay, and it's adorable. It's definitely shows how sharp her little claws were. They also set up a cremation service plan for Skye through our chosen pet cremation service, Eco Pets Cremation - (aquamation). They contacted us when Skye was ready to be picked up from the vets after her cremation.

I can honestly say, our experience was just perfect. It has given us peace with losing our beloved baby Skye. 🐈❤️

Henry is a Vet with an amazing heart. Very rare. ☺️

Dr Sef looked after my German shepherd when she recently had a cancerous tumour that had to be surgically removed. I was really happy with my interactions with Dr Sef and the all vet nurses that helped treat my dog, and my dog while hesitant to enter the vet like many pets, is excited to see the staff when she recognises them. So I think she’s pretty happy too.

Fantastic! Incredibly helpful, offering a variety of options for my elderly cat, and not just one, you know, *that one.*
Unlike another crowd these are 'pets before profit,' and, being new to the area my first choice turned out to be the best one. Couldn't be happier!

Edit: End of June this year it was Time for our elderly cat. It was the first time I said yes to staying as it happened. As expected the staff were amazing and she passed peacefully.

Very caring staff. Looked after our little fellow very professionally. It's always expensive going to the vet but Huon Valley was less so than our alternative, by a big margin, with no reduction in the quality of service or treatment. Very happy.

Our 21 and 4 month old cat Lady Muriel was fading fast .After 3 days we made the ''decision" and Sarah and Sarah came down to help Muriel over the rain bow bridge. They were both lovely people and gave us lots of time to say good bye. Thank You so much
