me and my partner had an amazing time at findex we got all our taxes done within half a day very nice staff and had a great time with nick demden

My partner and I will never use Findex again the fees are exorbitant, we each were charged $545 for our returns when last year they were only $325 each. We had no confidence in the agent at all, will do my own returns in future.

The accountant I consulted was notably incompetent. Despite providing detailed information about the deductions I intended to claim, which I had thoroughly calculated beforehand, she included items in my deductions that I explicitly instructed her not to, as they were incorrect.

Additionally, my name was misspelled despite my corrections, and I was informed that a same-day tax return was not possible, contrary to the confirmation I received when booking the appointment. Ultimately, the tax return has still not been processed and paid.

This experience, which cost me $230, was unsatisfactory and absolutely shocking. In the future, I would lodge my tax return online and wait a few weeks for the processing, rather than be stuffed around for a “same day” tax return that isn’t even received the same day.

Putting in a review on behalf of my partner, my partner went here to lodge their tax return and the accountant that assisted him was very incompetent and had no idea what they were doing which has costed my partner their expected refund. Avoid this place at all costs, you will be doing yourself a favour.

Still waiting for tax to be completed after 5 1/2 weeks.
Was told someone would phone me but that has not happened either.
Very dissapointed, should never have taken friends advice to ho there.

Addit , after emailing a complaint, response was fast and tax has been completed with an apology.
