I had approximately 1 year of dealing with Cornish Lawyers, Richard and Jaz in particular. If it wasn’t so expensive to change lawyers halfway through my proceedings I would have done it in a heart beat. Be aware of their charges, read the fine print of their costs notice very carefully.
When I dare question the costs associated with my matter, I was met with nothing but threats of extra costs and lead to Jaz putting a caveat on my properties the day before the sale was finalised, and wasn’t lifted until they were paid. Zero compassion and all Cornish lawyers were interested in was my money and when I would pay them. My recommendation is to engage them at your peril and stay right away from them. There is plenty of other caring, compassionate and professional family lawyers out there.

Cornish lawyers were fantastic in getting the outcome I sought. I talked to a few other firms when initially shopping around, but they didn’t understand my situation like Jaz did. Jaz listened to my needs, gave me valuable advice and ultimately guided me in my journey through the family court to obtain the best outcome for my daughter and myself. I am highly grateful for coming across Cornish Lawyers. After feeling left deep in a hole with nowhere to go, Jaz, Mali and the whole team are very empathetic yet refreshingly honest with a great wealth of intricate knowledge and experience of Family Law. They also have a great (if not the best) network of connections to help and guide you every step of the way.
