This team is fun, professional and welcoming. They are gentle, realistic and friendly. They're respectful to the silence, and engaged in a chat. The salon is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The lighting is bright and area spacious.

I love the drive and enthusiasm of JPI - the support to the community and eagerness to bring the creativity of the Macleay out is very thrilling.

This salon delivers more than a hair cut, hair colour or hair style. It's sunshine in scissors!

Absolutely beautiful salon. The girls are all lovely and professional. I had the amazing Jackie do my makeup for my wedding and I could not fault it. She had to do 6 of us and got us all looking gorgeous and all ready on time. I very highly recommend.

The salon is really nice with cozy seats and a very cool vibe. Jacky does excellent work- I’ve seen her several times for colouring and she always nails it. I love the cuts I’ve had as well! The salon is also located next to a great restaurant, love it.

When I look back at my wedding day, unfortunately I have the tainted experience of breaking down in tears first thing in the morning.

I booked this service about four months prior to my event with the agreement that I had to book in a minimum of 5 people for hair and makeup for them to close down the salon for the day. My wedding was at 3:30. As I had 3 bridesmaids, my mum and mother in law decided they will get their hair and makeup done too. No problem. As we paid their requested minimum amount to have them close the salon my auntie decided she would like hair and makeup done on the day too. This didn’t happen and when she asked them to do it they turned her down. The night before my wedding I was told they could only stay until 1pm and they were to arrive at 8. I was confused and suddenly feeling stressed. When I confronted Jackie to clear it up in the morning she said an excuse about not being able to help the floods but there was no flooding so it was a poor excuse for her dishonesty of double booking me and having me spend more money to book her to close her salon for the day which she did not do. Confused again, as I did book for them to close their salon for the day, suddenly they are cutting my time short and coming in and rushing me to sit in the chair so they can start to process, even though we had talked about me starting my hair and makeup at 10… so I didn’t feel rushed.

On my wedding day I woke up feeling stressed and confused about what our agreement was. I had to look back at our whole conversation to confirm I was in fact being double booked and cut short despite paying the extra to lock in their minimum demand to have them booked for the day. That’s $400 that may not have been spent if I made a more informed decision. I find them to be shady with price as they didn’t provide me with a price list after asking more than once with pricing no where to be found so I was unable to see a breakdown in what I was spending my money on. It’s $200 for ‘the complete bridal experience’ and this applies to all people who have hair and makeup done. This price became my knowledge only once I was invoiced. I was told more time would be spent with me but I don’t think there was.. also my photographer was sitting around because my hair and makeup didn’t end up getting done until 12ish despite previous conversations saying I wanted it done at 10 which is what I planned the photographer around so we were sitting around wasting time for a while. It impacted my day negatively and quite frankly took a lot to not have it continue to confuse and upset me throughout the day. Everything we talked about prior went out the door the day of so I felt powerless and confused as to why they didn’t stick to what was discussed and agreed on prior. They did take photos but ignored my request to obtain any photos taken so that was disappointing too. On a positive note, they did a good job with makeup and hair.. although makeup was put on quite heavy and I had to blend it more around where my jaw line met my neck. I wasn’t over the moon with my hair and felt Leah did rush it a little given I was the last person to have hair done and it was past 1pm which is the time they stated they had to leave by. I won’t be seeking their service again but I do hope putting my experience out there does help to improve the way they approach a bride on her wedding day in the future though. I didn’t feel valued as a customer or as a bride. I don’t feel they are very transparent either. I wanted to share my version of events and experience so others are able to make an informed decision.

Jacky and the Girls at JPI are amazingly Kind and so professional. On my first visit to Jacky I got a colour and cut. She listened to what I wanted. Jacky is a perfectionist, when things didn’t look quite perfect to her she went back in and “fixed” it up. It’s a great atmosphere at JPI and would 10000 % recommend.

This is place you want to go to for all your hair & Beauty needs the ladies here are super professional they sit you down & have a discussion with you on your hair & what they believe is good for the condition of your hair & then they go to it & work there magic I had my hair done this morning & my transformation wellI l♥️ve it, it is just what my hair needed as it had not been cut in quite some time I will definitely be back & I highly recommend you give these wonderful ladies a try you won't be disappointed in any way thank ladies I'm one happy customer 👌👏
