I've been a client for more than 10yrs now. From the perspective of a business owner, the team at Jake McKinley are everything that you want on the modern lawyer. They suggest things that prevent legal trouble, they are strong when you need them to be and very responsive and affordable. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I prefer to post positive reviews, however an unpleasant experience with Elderlaw / Jake McKinley Legal Services (Jake Law) urges me to share my experience.

I was referred to their services by Aged Care Justice, by their own admission my issue was not handled in a timely manner – in fact forgotten until I made contact for a third time.

I was entitled to a free 30 minute consultation, but due to the death of my mother this needed to be delayed. Before an appointment could be set I received correspondence to make a payment into a trust account without knowing clearly what this fee was for, in my state of grief this caused more upset and anger. Without disclosing more details, the whole process achieved nothing except more stress for me at a time of loss.

I worked for a legal firm in the past and can’t understand such incompetence and lack of clear communication.

I am no longer in a position to achieve Justice for my issue because of the delays experienced with these firms.
