Had John Ellis represent me for the Royal Commission into Institutional child abuse. I trusted him and thought that he would do the right thing by me. But NO, he DIDN'T do the right thing by me. He used the same report that the Uniting church used and they down played my rights. After speaking with another lawyer about this, she said that a lot of solicitor's, cut deal's with the church's and to me, it looks like John Ellis did the same. He should have gone and got his own report done, for me. Knowing what I know now. I would NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR ELLIS LEGAL!! I have only given a one star, because they don't have a minus five hundred star's. You should be ashamed of yourself John Ellis!!!

No regular communication. My triggers have been induced much more. Been many holdups, since transferring to them in 2019 on advice of a Lawyer moving to their firm who left shortly after. Now 2024 I was told it would be over before Christmas 2021. But it came and went and now Oct 22 and 23. Now we are in 2024. Now my body fails me, I am in pain and no phone calls, no emails. Incredibly let down by a firm I once had a lot of trust in. My family are disappointed as they watch me go down hill. I am very saddened.

Because they are extremely understanding and go out of there way, to help nurture and support the entire process, that is for most a very Hard situation in the beginning they make you feel like a supported Victem not the victomised... thank you NICOLA John and staff...
