Pretty much profit-driven only. We whole family has been seeing their doctors for many years. My wife recently got a problem and needed urgent treatment with antibiotic medicine. I rang the reception and they said they can not book my wife in because she hasn’t visited their clinic for a few years. I said “God blessed her. Why would she visit your clinic if she was not in any trouble”? They didn’t put her in anyway. Totally insane. They don’t care about patients at all if they can’t make more money on them. Such a greedy world.

My husband and I have been attending the Clocktower Medical Centre for many years. Dr Annie Ye has been looking after us in that time…and we cannot speak highly enough of her.
We have found Dr Ye to be a superb ambassador for the Practice. She is a caring and highly knowledgeable doctor with a beautifully empathetic persona.
The reception and the nursing staff at this Practice are first class plus very patient and caring.

Often hard to get into see my regular GP Saw a newish lady dr who when I asked for my antiinflammatory meds folded her arms and said I am not giving you pain meds. These meds are on my file and I take them for arthritis. I said to her to look at my records but she refused and said for me to see my regular GP. The thing is I tried but couldn't get in to see him. Felt helpless. All she had to do was check the file or even check with my regular GP who I couldn't get in with that day. Mind you my regular GP has me on antidepressants but there has been no regular reviews of my medication. Been on them for a long time and don't feel they are working. So asked to change them but GP wants me to see a psychiatrist for that. Cannot afford it, not even with Medicare. Not only that last time when you sent me to a psychiatrist she told me I had a personality disorder. I don't. It turns out Iam autistic. My trust is eroding. This whole process through this surgery has seen my mental health decline. I have difficulties expressing myself verbally and I get frustrated as I feel dismissed. It has got to the point where I cry at the thought of having to go to the doctors. It's difficult to change to a different surgery especially when most are not taking on new patients. All I want is half decent support please. I kind of feel they have me over a barrel.

I don't know why Dr. Swati Madan is still practicing at this medical centre or maybe at all? She definitely put my wife in hospital a year or so ago by prescribing the incorrect dosage of a medicine. The doctors at Gosford Hospital said that she had overdosed my wife and that the drug should have only been taken for three days and no more! My wife had already taken that amount but she prescribed it again!

I spoke to the practice manage at the time but nothing happened. After reading all the other disturbing comments here regarding Dr. Swati Madan I decided to say something to warn people to stay clear of her. She is dangerous!

I would also like to say that there are many very good doctors at the practice too.

They tried to charge me for a COVID booster vaccination appointment. The receptionist was super rude and told me I needed to book a paid appointment with the doctor to discuss my medical history before getting the shot. Totally ridiculous. I never had to do that for my first three vaccinations in Sydney. She said it was the policy of the medical centre?

Such rude receptionists. It's happened so much I'm moving to another practice. Just trying to make an appointment and you get treated like your bothering them to beg for scraps. Don't need it, don't need you.

In response to the reply. No, there is no mistake. I don't use my real name here. I no longer use this medical service. My wife still goes to doctor Ye, she's great. The reception staff are far from it. Unfortunately I still have to come back to get scripts for my wife so I'm forced to deal with them.
Maybe it's a stressful place to work, I don't know but it's been like that for a long time.

Neglect care for patients.
My parents was treated inappropriately & unprofessionalable by their Doctor. Dr. Swati Madan gave them wrong medication prescription more than twice & I picked up the mistakes both times. The Doctor changed medication & put their health in risk. She didn't even read discharged summary reports from hospital & she responded that she had no time. Last month I changed GP & never will I recommend this Medical Practice to anyone. Note to everyone when you know & feel not safe change GP.

I have been attending this surgery for 15 years and had nothing but courteous treatment from staff and Drs. My Dr is just amazing and thoroughly knowledgeable about her
Profession. I've never had a Dr. Who knows me and my medical issues.
