Nice library and a regular place I visit. Supportive and helpful staff, spacious area for choosing books. Good collection of books and very easy to reserve the book of that's not available

However sometimes the noise from young kids and students is annoying in a library environment. I think any noise generating activities should be in a separate noise controlled rooms. And I am sure this Library has enough areas that can be converted to such rooms

Berating，verbal abuse and selective punishment against children in designated kids area over minor or no mistakes, is what we have had in a intimidating confrontation with the library worker during our visit to Riverton library for the first time. I have been a level 10 google local guide and visited numerous libraries and public facilities all over Australia and to be honest this is the first time someone in public service treated me in this manner.
2 stars rated for its good architecture and strong air-con to have a freezing temperature during an extreme warm day

Well maintained library. It's warm and welcoming. It's a wonderful community spot that you can relax and enjoy. It's has various classes going on : English conversation, singing and story time, different languages activities etc.

Best library I've ever been to in WA. Well designed with the best supportive staff! You can access a huge variety of books and online material at your fingertips. You could simply download the borrowbooks and Libby apps and access everything under one app. Nice and clean environment with plenty of space to sit and read in. Also if you've got kids it has a wide variety of activities and materials to learn and play.

Really nice library with warm and welcoming space as well as friendly staff. I come to the library often to study and relax. Riverton library has plenty of books and has Wifi availablity too.

An amazing transformation occurs at
15 minutes before closing.
The librarians turn into livestock herders.

Self centred librarians begin ringing cow bells every 5 minutes.
Yelling out numerous times comments such as and I quote.
"Pack it up and move it out"
"Time to go home and cook your dinner"
"Time to go home and watch netfix."

Or we want you gone "well before" closing time.

Now if this was fun banter, i would find it quite amusing.
However it is delivered in a quite assertive and
demanding, tone and manner.

Futher from a practical point of view, treating people rudely
increases ill will towards the staff.
And frankly gets peoples back up.

I think it should well cease.

It would be well for management and staff to arrange matters.
So that closing is indeed accepted as closing time.
And not fifteen minutes before.
As it is throughout the rest of the community.
With graciousness. Not as people merely being an inconvience.

As the facility is largely overstaffed; and as the librarians
often stand around twiddling their thumbs all day.
This should not be too much of an ask.

What a beautiful library. Very open and spacious with plenty of natural light. Nice and quiet most of t he time with study desks available, computers for public use and also offers baby rhyme time for the young ones. Very helpful staff who care for their community . Colourful murals inclusive of children's participation to brighten the atmosphere.

The library has everything you need in it including resources and books, and the facilities are great, except for the fact that people are talking quite loudly and it can be a slight distraction.
